Hallands Hamnar AB is a full-service port with facilities in both Halmstad and Varberg. We have extensive experience and capacity within the segments of containers, RoRo, bulk, biofuels, cars, recycling, and forest products. The Role

As an HR generalist with us, you will have a varied and independent role focusing on both operational and strategic HR work. You will work closely with our managers and production operations in Halmstad and Varberg, supporting them in everything from occupational health and labor law issues to leadership development and working methods.

An important part of the assignment is to drive and follow up HR processes, contribute to compliance, and work long-term with structure and improvements. You will also be part of Hallands Hamnar's digitalization journey, where you, in collaboration with Halmstad municipality, represent HR's needs and help implement new system support. You will be part of an HR team of four people.

Responsibilities

Provide qualified support to managers in personnel issues, occupational health, and labor law
Drive and develop HR processes and tools
Ensure compliance with laws, agreements, and internal policies
Be a sounding board in change and improvement work, follow up and drive towards goals
Support managers in personnel and leadership development
Participate in the work with digitalization and new system support
Be responsible for HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, salary review, training, and employer branding

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced HR generalist with broad expertise and a particular interest in occupational health issues. You are confident in your role, self-driven, and used to taking responsibility. You thrive in an environment where you can be both strategic and practical - where structure, follow-up, and compliance are as important as engagement and energy. You find it easy to collaborate, communicate clearly, and ensure that things happen.

Qualifications

Academic education in HR, behavioral science, or equivalent
Experience in broad HR work, preferably in an operation close to production
Good knowledge of labor law, negotiation, and occupational health
Interest in digitalization and how AI can be used in HR work
A structured, meticulous, and persistent personality with the ability to follow through and follow up
