The mission of the Education and Labor Market Administration is to increase individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, internships, and employment.

Adult Education offers courses and training in various ways based on individual needs. This includes upper secondary adult education, Swedish for immigrants, special education for adults, vocational training, higher vocational education, and learning center activities.

Adult Education in Halmstad has approximately 5,000 students annually, distributed among internal and external education providers.

The operation is located at Linjegatan 10, adjacent to Halmstad University.

Your Responsibilities

As a receptionist in the Service Department, you are an important part of the Adult Education's operations and often the first contact for our students, visitors, and staff. Your tasks are varied and combine service with administration.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting students, visitors, and staff at the reception
• Receiving deliveries and handling mail
• Performing administrative tasks such as registering users in the tagging system, managing cases in the municipality's case management system (Artvise), and registering IT equipment
• Working with internal substitute management

You will need to handle many different inquiries simultaneously.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in a service-oriented role and enjoys interacting with people.

We expect you to have:

• Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with administrative tasks

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with student registration systems
• Knowledge of additional languages, such as Arabic or Ukrainian

You are social, outgoing, and have a knack for building good relationships. You possess a strong sense of service, are organized, flexible, and can switch between different tasks without losing focus or service quality.
