Career Consultant for Rusta and Matcha Halland

We are looking for a structured and proactive career consultant to join our team at Rusta och Matcha at Jobcenter.

About the position

As a career consultant, you will coach job seekers towards employment, internships, or education. You will assist participants in setting goals, developing strategies, and boosting their motivation. The role also includes building relationships with employers and partners to create more job opportunities.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Coaching participants in job searching and career planning.
• Working results-oriented towards established goals.
• Planning, following up, and documenting interventions.
• Networking with employers and matching participants with available positions.

We are looking for someone who is

• Structured, solution-oriented, and flexible.
• Goal-oriented and responsible with a strong ability to create engagement and trust.
• A good communicator who enjoys working towards goals and results.

Qualifications (according to the Employment Service)

Option 1

• Higher education of at least 180 credits.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience equivalent to full-time.

Option 2

• At least 1 year of post-secondary studies.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience equivalent to full-time (e.g., management, recruitment, coaching, or customer contact).
