Local Coordinator for Ambulance, Diagnostics and Health

The Ambulance, Diagnostics and Health (ADH) department is in an intensive development phase. Hospitals are being renovated, operations are being relocated, and new working methods are being formed. In this work, the premises play a crucial role for patient benefit, working environment, efficiency, and the long-term development of the organization.
We are now looking for a local coordinator who wants to contribute to local development in a complex and socially important organization.
About the assignment
As a local coordinator within ADH, you will work both strategically and operationally with local issues. The role involves close collaboration with operations, property functions, and project organizations where you contribute to ensuring that the premises support the needs of healthcare today and in the future.
Your responsibilities include:
- coordinating and planning local needs during renovations and new constructions from needs analysis to implementation
- supporting and assisting operations during relocations, evacuations, temporary solutions, and return moves
- participating in projects related to the development of hospitals and changing care flows
- contributing to the development of functional, sustainable, and appropriate healthcare environments
- ensuring that the premises support the organization's requirements for working environment, safety, and continuity
- participating in the work with robust local solutions also from a preparedness and continuity perspective
You will be involved in both short-term problem-solving and long-term local development and will have the opportunity to gradually broaden and deepen your responsibilities.
About Ambulance, Diagnostics and Health
The Ambulance, Diagnostics and Health department has a regional operation and comprises approximately 1,300 employees. As a local coordinator, you will be part of the operational environment department, which consists of six employees tasked with supporting, coordinating, and leading the department in safety, local issues, environment, and digitalization. The operational environment belongs to the department's management and operational support, which also includes the HR, finance, quality, and development departments, as well as the chief physician.
Examples of tasks included in the assignment:
- Supporting the managers of operations in local matters from needs to implementation and handover
- Being the link between operations and Regional Properties in all local matters
- Participating and supporting the operations in the work with the department's local supply plan.
- Participating in the work with prioritizing local matters
- Working closely with many different actors such as managers, property managers, project leaders, consultants, local strategists, and safety partners
- Monitoring the department's internal lease agreements to ensure long-term local supply
- Ensuring, documenting, and implementing effective local and inventory-related routines
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a relevant university education, for example in project management, property management, or another equivalent education and/or experience. We expect you to have at least three years of experience working with comparable tasks.
We expect you to have:
- experience in local, property, or operational coordination preferably in a larger or complex organization
- the ability to be flexible and accustomed to working in changing environments and parallel processes
- a solution-focused approach
- good ability to structure, coordinate, and communicate
- enjoy collaboration between operations, technology, and organization
- consider it a given to be a close support to the operations in various matters
- want to contribute to development in a socially important organization
- a high sense of service, responsibility, process-oriented, and easy to collaborate with others
Experience from healthcare, the public sector, or work related to preparedness is meritorious but not a requirement.
You must have good Swedish in both speech and writing as you are expected to independently compile analyses, write and present reports and investigations to management and politics. A B driver's license is required.
You have an easy time looking ahead, thinking strategically, and driving your processes forward. You understand the importance of structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. To succeed in the role, you should be action-oriented, responsible, and able to drive your processes independently and be persistent. You are a communicative person who finds it easy to listen and adapt your way of communicating to the context you are in. You have high social competence, are service-oriented, and are motivated by personal responsibility. In the recruitment process, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
