Pension Administrator at Halmstad Municipality

Your Responsibilities
As a pension administrator, you will be responsible for administration and processing within pensions, salary exchange, and insurance. You will provide support to managers, HR, and employees via phone, email, and personal meetings where you will inform about pension solutions and perform calculations for upcoming pension departures. The role also involves contact with external suppliers as well as handling invoices and pension reporting.
An important part of the assignment is to contribute to the digitalization and development of our processes, where part of the job will involve mapping, streamlining, and future-proofing our working methods. You will collaborate with our system group to ensure the quality of the payroll system Heroma and ensure that our routines comply with current agreements and laws. The goal of the role is to create a modern, digital pension management system that meets the needs and expectations of the next generation.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and enjoys both independent work and teamwork. You have good communication skills and can handle complex issues and sometimes difficult conversations in a professional and humble manner. You are solution-oriented, curious about development, and have the drive to contribute to change and digitalization. The role requires you to be structured, have high integrity, and be able to prioritize when the pace is high.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in administrative work within payroll
- Post-secondary education
Meritorious:
- Experience with pension issues, preferably within municipal operations
- Knowledge of agreements and laws (labor law, interpretation work)

About the Recruitment Process
After the application period has ended, we will review the applications and get back to you with feedback. If you meet the requirements, you will receive tests to complete, followed by a phone check-in, competency-based interview, and candidate meeting with union collaboration. We always take references on the final candidate.
Competency-based interviews are scheduled for week 4 and will take place on-site.

The possibility of partially working remotely is a given as long as it works for our customers and stakeholders.
