Halland Hospital is undergoing a significant development phase where our three hospital areas – Halmstad, Varberg, and Kungsbacka – are being renovated to meet the current and future needs of healthcare.

About the workplace

The Department of Local Development and Safety provides support in local issues and safety based on healthcare needs. We work with crisis and emergency planning, technical infrastructure, operational development, and construction. The department is part of the Management and Operational Support area (LOVS) together with the Development Department, HR, and Medical Technology. We currently have about 20 employees based in Halmstad and Varberg. Your workplace will be Varberg, but travel to Halmstad may occur.

About the assignment

As a coordinator, you are a cohesive link between projects, specialist functions, and management groups. You create structure, clarity, and effective communication in our new and renovation projects. Your tasks include:

• Coordinating the hospital's needs and questions within the construction projects.
• Establishing and developing structures for case management, traceability, and decision-making processes.
• Ensuring clear and accessible documentation.
• Developing templates, routines, and shared workspaces.
• Preparing presentation materials and decision documents for steering and working groups.
• Supporting managers and project leaders with communication and presenting yourself.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field such as construction and property development, urban planning, or equivalent. You also have experience from qualified administrative work. It is an advantage if you have worked in healthcare and have experience with projects in complex organizations, and are accustomed to creating structure through methods, routines, and documentation.

Your communication skills are very good, both written and verbal, and you are skilled at visualizing information and creating clear presentation materials. You enjoy collaboration and have experience working at the intersection of different professions and decision-making levels. Additionally, you have the ability to quickly and independently grasp new technology.

You work both systematically and analytically, while also being relationship-building and attentive. Your humility and solution-oriented mindset allow you to confidently move processes forward, even in situations where formal mandates are lacking. Your curiosity and creativity enable you to find new paths, and you have the ability to translate plans and activities into practical action.
