School of Information Technology

The School of Information Technology (ITE) at Halmstad University is a well-known interdisciplinary institution with approximately 155 employees from 20 different countries. ITE is internationally recognized for its applied research and collaboration focusing on smart technology and its practical applications.

At ITE, our students and researchers work in various educational fields, such as electronics, AI, information-driven healthcare, autonomous vehicles, social robotics, and digital design. We offer a comprehensive range of educational programs from undergraduate to doctoral level, as well as professional development for practitioners.

Job Responsibilities

As a research coordinator within CAISR Health, you will work closely with the management team for the profile. The work will primarily focus on following up on various parts of the research project, which also includes contacts with our industrial partners. Furthermore, the work will involve planning and coordinating commissioned research with Region Sörmland.

Qualifications:

• You have a university degree equivalent to a master's degree in a field deemed appropriate by the university.
• You have experience working with project coordination in collaborations between academia and industry.
• You have good communication skills both orally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.
• You are a proactive, analytical, and structured person who drives processes to completion and has a genuine interest in supporting the environment in its development.
• A research background is advantageous.
• Experience with research projects related to health where academia, industry, and healthcare intersect is advantageous.
