About the job

As a clinic coordinator, you will be part of the management team of the operational area, which also includes the operations manager, department heads, and the dental management responsible (OLA).

The clinic coordinator collaborates with and supports the department head and operations manager in their overall responsibilities and tasks, for example by:

• Participating in the management's work for goal fulfillment in accordance with the operational area's business plan and other governing documents.
• Ensuring that the operations follow applicable routines and guidelines regarding care, hygiene, environment, safety, and fire protection.
• Ensuring that working hours and scheduling support the operations' planning in the short and long term.
• Being responsible for daily operations regarding staffing.
• Contributing to ongoing quality and development work and supporting the department head in analyzing and improving the operations' processes.
• Supporting and working in other areas as needed, according to agreement.

About the workplace

Folktandvården Halland is divided into different operational areas, and at the northernmost point is the Kungsbacka and Varberg operational area. The area includes the clinics Kolla, Fjärås, Åsa, Veddige, and Bua. The Kolla and Bua clinics have three treatment rooms, while the Fjärås, Åsa, and Veddige clinics have five treatment rooms. All clinics have close collaboration regarding both staffing and patients. We focus on good collaboration, development of the operations, and training for employees – we want it to be fun to go to work!

As a clinic coordinator with us, you will be part of a cheerful group with good cohesion, high ceilings, and where we feel secure with each other in our daily work. We work closely together, and everyone takes great responsibility for ensuring that the clinics function as well as possible and continue to develop towards our jointly set goals. As an employee in our operational area, it may be necessary to work at different clinics. Placement will be based on preferences and agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma. You have good computer skills and are comfortable using IT and digital tools in your daily life. Previous experience in dental care is an advantage. We also see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You have the desire to contribute to well-functioning operations that deliver high-quality dental care. To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are structured and like order and tidiness, but with the ability to flexibly adapt and think anew when conditions change. You appreciate a day with varied tasks. You are motivated and driven by improvement and development work, where you participate in ensuring that decisions made are followed. Furthermore, you are service-oriented with a natural ability to collaborate at all levels, with an attentiveness to needs. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
