About the Job

We are currently looking for a medical secretary for a temporary position at the Children's and Youth Clinic.

As a medical secretary at the Children's and Youth Clinic, you will be part of our administrative service and knowledge function at the clinic. We work systematically with medical record writing, mail, phone, and other secretarial tasks. Some reception work is also included. Your tasks will also involve scheduling/calling and rescheduling patients.

We work together in an open office environment on the children's floor and have close collaboration with other staff. We operate in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn. The workplace is primarily Karlskrona, but work may occur in Karlshamn.

Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About You

We are looking for someone with an approved YH education as a medical secretary, or alternatively, a medical transcriptionist.

Coding education is an advantage. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, medical terminology, and the Office suite is desirable. It is a plus if you have worked with NCS Cross.

You should be positive, flexible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You are not afraid to take your own initiatives.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
