The administration Close Care and Health will be operational from January 1, 2025. The administration is responsible for grant-funded healthcare activities within close care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient services within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, as well as certain region-wide functions. Additionally, the administration is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is currently over 1,000.

The contract unit in the Close Care and Health administration is responsible for the preparation, development, processing, and follow-up of assignments for healthcare services at the primary care level according to the Act on Freedom of Choice (LOV) as well as for contracts according to the Act on Medical Care Compensation (LOL) and the Act on Compensation for Physiotherapy (LOF). Within the unit, health and medical care matters of various kinds are also prepared and processed for corporate management and political instances.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of health and medical care strategist, you will handle applications and follow up on healthcare services both for Region Skåne's own operations and for procured healthcare services according to LOV. Furthermore, you will work with the preparation and processing of health and medical care matters of various kinds and conduct oral presentations to corporate management and political instances prior to decisions. Based on needs and knowledge management, you will work with the team to develop assignments within close care and healthcare choice at the primary care level in Skåne. Your tasks will also include investigative work, writing reports, and providing opinions and materials within the framework of decisions in Region Skåne's committees and boards. You will also continuously conduct environmental analyses within your areas of responsibility to drive development forward.

The assignment offers opportunities for daily learning through collaboration, curiosity, and dialogue. In the role of strategist, you will collaborate with both public and private healthcare providers. The analysis and assignment work will be done in close collaboration with several different units within Region Skåne, such as the units for finance, law, press service, IT, and corporate purchasing.

The position is located in Malmö, in our offices at Dockplatsen in the Western Harbor.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for someone with a university degree in health and medical care or another relevant field for the position. We see that you have a solid understanding of the health and medical care system at both operational and strategic levels. Your knowledge of the Swedish language is good, both spoken and written, and you have good computer skills. You have experience in compiling reports and writing decision-making materials as well as conducting oral presentations for politicians and suppliers, for example. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience in process management as well as driving change in complexity and leading, governing, following up, and adjusting based on target images.

We consider it advantageous if you have previous experience from strategic work within health and medical care and politically governed organizations, preferably in the area of transition to close care. If you also have knowledge and experience in working with contractual issues within LOV, it is meritorious.

As a person, you have a holistic view and strategic ability that allows you to see how changes in the external environment affect your own operations and can adapt, develop, and improve based on this. You have a good understanding of the complexity of driving change in a healthcare system with multiple different actors. To thrive and be successful in the role, you should be communicative, have good collaboration skills, and easily build good relationships. We value that you are courageous, proactive, and attentive.
