Job Responsibilities

The Labor Market Department is now looking for a new colleague for our section within the Support and Employer Function unit. The position is a parental leave cover for approximately one year.

In this role, you will work with ongoing financial administration and become an important support in the daily financial operations of the organization. You will follow the invoice flow throughout the entire process – from reviewing supplier and customer invoices and ensuring correct coding, to creating customer invoices and working in accounts receivable.

You will also handle orders and work in our e-commerce systems. The work also includes preparing and verifying financial documentation, conducting reconciliations, and contributing to simpler analyses. Through your continuous support in financial matters, you will create structure and quality in our processes and ensure that the organization has the right conditions for its financial work.

You will be part of a section whose mission includes ESF finance, ESF administration, and financial support for the Labor Market Department. In the section, we are six employees and one manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in administrative and finance-related roles. The role requires you to be familiar with working in financial systems and have experience in financial administration, such as invoice management, coding, purchasing, or other administrative tasks.

Furthermore, we expect you to have good knowledge of Excel and to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in relevant work in the public sector and/or the financial system Raindance is highly meritorious.

As a person, you are communicative and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. You work methodically and structured and find it easy to understand routines and processes. We also believe that you are curious, contribute ideas, and have an analytical approach.

To thrive in this role, you also need to be service-oriented and confident in taking responsibility and driving your tasks forward.

The Labor Market Department is an important player in Malmö's labor market. We contribute to strengthening the job-seeking Malmö residents' opportunities for employment and help them to become self-sufficient, either on their own or with the help of another actor. The Labor Market Department consists of six different units that offer various labor market initiatives in close collaboration, such as municipal labor market employment, work training, education, and internships.
