About the Role

The Waste Advisory unit consists of seven Waste Advisors who work goal-oriented to reduce waste and increase material recycling. The core of our work is to create behavioral change among our customers to achieve our waste goals and ensure that waste is managed in the best way. We combine both long-term and strategic work as well as daily operations.

As a junior Waste Advisor, you will be NSR's face to the public regarding waste management issues and support our Waste Advisors in simpler tasks. You will work closely with residents, municipalities, property owners, and colleagues to solve practical questions regarding waste management. You will initiate improvements and proactively work on developing services and methods.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.

  • Providing clear information about waste collection, sorting, and subscriptions.

  • Initiating and following up on actions regarding problems at collection points.

  • Conducting site visits and documenting cases in the case management system.

  • Coordinating tasks related to ensuring that all households have property-close collection of packaging by 2026-12-31.

  • Participating in customer events, information campaigns, and training sessions.

  • Proactively working on customer relationships and improvement efforts.

  • Tracking statistics and key figures to identify areas for development.

  • Ensuring full FNI

  • Documentation and other administrative tasks as needed.

 

Requirements for Success in the Role

To succeed in the role of Waste Advisor, you need to have good social skills and a sense of service. This means you are communicative, solution-focused, and can handle different types of people both internally and externally. You are flexible, have a quick understanding, and can manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. We prefer that you are an organized problem solver who works strategically, analytically, and is comfortable working independently. One of your strengths is being a relationship builder and having high social competence with excellent collaboration skills. At times, the workload and pace can be high, which requires you to perform and drive yourself even under pressure.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A valid driver's license (B)

  • A high school diploma

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365

  • Can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and can communicate in English.

  • Experience in coordinating and driving projects.

  • Experience as a salesperson or in a similar role is an advantage.

  • Experience in the waste industry and good knowledge of waste management is a plus.

Employment

  • Employment type: Fixed-term employment from 2026-01-01 to 2026-12-31

  • Working hours: 100%

  • Start date: As soon as possible by agreement

  • Location: Helsingborg
