About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a community guide at the citizen center, you will assist and guide citizens, associations, and businesses.

Many inquiries are answered directly by the citizen center, while others are forwarded to our colleagues throughout the municipality. The phone is the most common channel for incoming inquiries, but you will also respond to emails and receive visitors at the Kristallen reception. Community guides work in several digital systems, including telephony systems, case management systems, digital mapping services, and e-services.

We are divided into two response groups; response group 1 answers education and care questions, while response group 2 primarily answers questions related to reporting faults, street and traffic issues, building permits, and drawing documents.

We are looking for someone who

  • has at least a high school education. A university degree is an advantage.
  • has experience in community guidance
  • expresses themselves well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
  • has experience working in various operational systems.

As a person, you enjoy meeting and helping others and strive to always provide a good response. You have a positive attitude, focus on problem-solving, and find it easy to build good relationships. Answering the phone for many hours requires endurance and stress resistance, while you must also be meticulous and follow routines. You are stable and can handle meeting people in vulnerable situations.
