About the Job

Your tasks will consist of medical documentation and healthcare administrative services in close collaboration with colleagues within the organization. Reception and cashier work may occur.

Our operations in Gothenburg are conducted at Sahlgrenska Hospital, Östra Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Högsbo Hospital, Flöjelbergsgatan - Mölndal, and Rågården - Gunnilse. We also have operations in Trollhättan/Uddevalla (Northern Älvsborg Hospital - NÄL) and Borås (Southern Älvsborg Hospital - SÄS). The needs of the departments (for summer substitutes) will determine which hospital you will be placed at.

About You

We are looking for you who are a medical secretary, studying to become a medical secretary and will complete your second semester by June 2026, or are a medical student who has completed your fifth semester by June 2026.

We are seeking summer substitutes who can work during the holiday period weeks 23-35 (June 1 - August 30). You should be able to work 8 consecutive weeks, including 4 weeks in July.

You have a strong service mindset, an interest in documentation, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Previous experience working in a hospital or in service occupations is an advantage. We also consider it an advantage if you are studying to become a medical secretary and have completed your LIA placement within the Västra Götaland region. Knowledge of the Melior journal system and the Elvis patient administrative system is also advantageous.

To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and the ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
