Administrator in the Healthcare Sector
The Ministry of Social Affairs, the unit for healthcare and pharmaceutical issues, is now seeking an administrator within the healthcare sector for the healthcare group (HS). The group is responsible for issues related to governance, development, and monitoring of healthcare, which includes the overall capacity of care, accessibility, development of primary care, workforce supply, authorization, patient safety, women's health, maternity care, etc. The group is responsible for targeted state grants to the municipal sector and the governance of the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) and the Health and Social Care Analysis (VoA).

Examples of tasks that this role entails include:
- monitoring the external environment, preparing and analyzing materials for the government's positions on issues concerning the governance and development of healthcare,
- leading and participating in the planning, implementation, and coordination of initiatives related to healthcare,
- drafting bills, letters, and department communications (DS),
- handling ongoing tasks such as inquiries, interpellations, correspondence, etc.,
- participating in international processes and contexts, and
- working within the framework of the government's governance of authorities.
Your Background
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in social sciences, law, or another relevant field. You also have experience in administration within healthcare and/or competence and education issues in the Government Offices, another government agency, or region. Additionally, we see that you have knowledge of the organization, functions, and working methods of healthcare.
Relevant experience in the following areas within the healthcare sector is meritorious: Work with governance and development, authorization and licensing issues, matters concerning education and continuing education, EU and international processes, as well as investigative and/or legislative work. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of the government's governance of healthcare.
The position requires excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
