Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. These are everyone's tax funds that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The IT Information Data and AI area of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is responsible for a coordinated, quality-assured, and efficient management of information, data, and AI within the authority. Our mission is to develop how the agency uses and shares data in a way that strengthens operations and contributes to a more efficient administration within the public sector. Through collaboration with actors in the AI field, we drive development forward and contribute to a more knowledge-based and sustainable welfare.

The ITIDD External Information Exchange unit consists of 9 people in Luleå, Sundsvall, and Stockholm. We are a growing team that works operationally and strategically with issues related to the agency's information exchange with external actors. We value commitment and good collaboration.

Business Development, Product Owner, Analysis, and Requirements Management
As a business developer with us, you will work to translate the needs of the organization into concrete development efforts. You will participate in the analysis and prioritization of requirements, coordinate activities with colleagues and development teams, and prepare and follow up on projects and change initiatives. Your work combines detail focus with a holistic perspective, and you will quickly navigate complex issues that span both operations and technology.

You need to have a technical understanding of system integrations, information flows, and agile working methods, as well as experience or interest in working towards product ownership. The role will gradually evolve towards more product owner-oriented working methods, where you will have the opportunity to prioritize, plan, and follow up on development efforts together with the IT teams.

We are looking for someone who can take initiative, create structure in assignments with varying content, and thrive in collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders. You appreciate working in an environment where pace and change are part of everyday life, and where your contribution helps improve both processes and technical solutions. Personal qualities such as humility, stability, curiosity, and good communication skills are important for success in the role.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • has experience in business development, analysis, and requirements work in a government agency
  • has a good understanding of system development environments and technical connections
  • is accustomed to collaborating with IT functions or development teams
  • has experience in change and development processes
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for results
  • understands and can analyze complex issues
  • has good organizational understanding and can translate this into operations
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you

  • have experience in product ownership or product-related development work
  • have knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's case management systems and structure
  • have experience in collaboration between authorities
  • have knowledge of information security
  • have the ability to create a useful network
  • have experience in implementing new IT support.
