JOB DESCRIPTION
As a central development leader, you are organizationally placed directly under the sector manager for education. In this role, you assist the sector manager and operational managers in overarching internal processes and investigations. The education sector includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, adapted secondary school, adult education, labor market unit, unit for newcomers, culture and leisure, as well as central child and student health, making your work both varied and challenging.
You are part of a team of development leaders where the team's work is based on political decisions and challenges identified in management groups or in systematic quality work.
The team's mission includes, among other things:
- supporting and process-leading the sector in systematic quality work.
- business development and support to operations.
- investigating and handling school legal issues.
- managing cases from government authorities.
- producing, analyzing, and reporting statistics.
- strategic planning based on the long-term needs of the operations.
- investigations, reports, and service writings to political leadership.
- monitoring relevant issues for the sector.
- participating in internal and external networks.
- working with procurements and agreements for the systems affecting the Education Sector.
As a development leader with legal expertise, your main assignments are the sector's processes and larger and smaller investigations. You will have an overarching assignment related to the sector's legal perspective. Processes and investigations are carried out in close dialogue with the relevant sector and/or operational manager and the team. You will also work with assignments included in the team's areas of responsibility, as we have close collaboration within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a university degree in law, public administration, or another education that the employer finds relevant. You have current and several years of experience in investigative work within municipal or state operations.
Experience with school legal and/or administrative law issues is an advantage.
You are unpretentious and easily create good working relationships while being independent with integrity. You listen and communicate well and adapt your message to the recipient. Through your drive and being effective, structured, analytical, responsible, and meticulous, you achieve good results.
