As a contract controller, you play a key role in ensuring that the city's maintenance contracts (winter road maintenance, green space management, and waste management) are followed up in a structured, legally secure, and businesslike manner. It is important that your work contributes to equitable maintenance throughout the city and helps achieve the city's environmental goals.

You work closely with both suppliers and internal functions, combining law, monitoring, analysis, and coordination in a socially important mission.

Responsibilities

In the role of contract controller, you are responsible for the management and follow-up of contracts related to maintenance contracts within the city's outdoor environments. Your main tasks include:

• Ensuring that suppliers deliver according to the contract regarding quality, scope, and timeline
• Conducting contract follow-ups, documenting results, and following up on deviations together with suppliers and internal functions
• Supporting the organization in interpreting contracts and legal issues related to contracts and the ordering role
• Working with payment plans and finances, ensuring they align with contracts and actual deliveries
• Participating in procurement by contributing to requirement setting, contract drafting, and experiences from follow-up
• Contributing to the development and improvement of contracts and methods for follow-up and control

The role involves both strategic and operational work, and you are expected to take an active responsibility in collaboration with multiple parties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is stable and secure in their professional role and enjoys taking responsibility in complex contexts. You work in a structured manner, have good analytical skills, and can influence others through clear communication and professional interaction. To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Relevant higher education in areas such as economics, law, public administration, engineering, or other education/experience deemed equivalent.
• Documented experience in working with contracts, follow-up, or projects – as a client or supplier.
• Knowledge of LOU and contract law, such as ABFF
• Experience working in public operations or a good understanding of municipal organizations
• The ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Experience in technical management, community building, or work with outdoor environments is a merit.
