Your next challenge!

As a business developer within Business Train, you will play a key role in further developing the customer experience on board and along the entire travel chain. You will drive the work with the validation assignment for train attendants, develop methods for validation and VIP (Validation before boarding), and strengthen quality and efficiency in ticket control on board.

You will also delve into customer insights through KNO and free text comments. The work also includes supporting projects related to bicycles on trains, inventorying today's vehicles, and understanding customer needs.

In this role, you will also develop areas such as cleanliness, traffic information to customers, and be Västtrafik's eyes during track work. Evaluation of customer activities, such as initiatives during events, will also be included.

This is a role where you get to combine analysis, relationship building, and practical improvement work – with a clear focus on the customer.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is curious, outgoing, and confident in meeting both customers, partners, and colleagues. You preferably have experience in UX, service development, or other roles where the customer's needs have been central. If you also have an understanding of Västtrafik or Västtågen, that is a big plus as it shortens your startup time.

You are analytical, communicative, and good at creating consensus – while enjoying driving issues forward and keeping complex assignments together. You dare to question the status quo, you see the big picture, and you take responsibility for ensuring that solutions benefit both the customer and a functioning delivery.

You act as a role model both internally and externally by creating clarity and engagement and through a results-focused approach. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability where you show care for customers, colleagues, partners, and the organization.

We would like you to have a relevant education in areas such as logistics and transport, business development and management, service management, or project management within public transport or the transport sector – or alternatively another equivalent education. It could be a vocational or university education that provides an understanding of business development, customer focus, and complex deliveries.

In our Business Train department, we are six employees focusing on contract and business development in collaboration with our partners to meet customer needs.
