Job responsibilities

In the role of Financial Manager, you will have the opportunity to take a comprehensive approach to the finance function in a fast-growing company that is now ready to take the next big step. We are looking for someone who wants to lead the company's financial work and drive the financial strategy forward, while gradually building a complete finance department as the business develops. As the Financial Manager, you will be a central part of the organization and work closely with other functions to create stability, structure, and momentum in the company's growth journey.

You will report directly to the CEO and be part of the management team, where you will have ample opportunity to influence the company's future direction. You will take over the responsibility from an experienced colleague who has deep insights into the business, providing you with good conditions for a smooth and well-planned handover. The team also includes a finance assistant who is responsible for ongoing tasks and reports to you.

As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for monthly and annual financial statements, tax and VAT reporting, project accounting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as follow-up on sales reports together with the sales manager. You will manage contact with auditors and authorities and be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier invoices, accounts receivable, as well as handling salaries and commissions. In addition, you will also be responsible for the company's IT environment in terms of coordinating external IT suppliers, HR administration such as employment contracts and personnel-related documentation, as well as responsibility for purchasing and procurement.

• Lead the financial work and drive the financial strategy forward while building the finance department in line with business development

• Central part of the organization with close collaboration with other functions 

• Reports to the CEO and is part of the management team

• Responsible for monthly and annual financial statements, tax and VAT reporting, project accounting, budgeting and forecasting 

• Contact with auditors and authorities, as well as responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier invoices, accounts receivable, and handling salaries and commissions

• Responsible for the IT environment in terms of coordination with IT suppliers

• HR administration as well as purchasing and procurement

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or equivalent

• Several years of experience in accounting, reporting, and financial management

• Experience in previous financial responsibility in companies where the role is both operational and strategic

• Fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form 

Personal qualities

The role requires that you are self-driven and confident in taking responsibility for the entire financial flow, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You work operationally with salaries, invoicing, tax, VAT, and other ongoing operations. Since you are responsible for producing materials for monthly and annual financial statements, following up on sales reports, and ensuring accurate project accounting, it is crucial that you work in a structured and meticulous manner. Your ability to make well-founded decisions and ensure accurate reporting is central to supporting the management team in both strategic and operational decisions. At the same time, the role requires that you are collaborative, as you build the professional relationships necessary for the finance function to operate effectively throughout the organization in close dialogue with sales, management, and other functions.
