Job Responsibilities

Join us in developing the HR processes of the future! Do you want to contribute to a long-term and sustainable working life for everyone working in preschool – and thus also to a safe and developing environment for the children? Then we are looking for you! We offer an exciting opportunity for you who want to work strategically and development-oriented with labor law in a socially important organization – where you make a difference every day.

The HR department works to ensure that the preschool administration is an attractive and sustainable employer. The department consists of about 50 employees divided into three units: HR Processes, HR Partner, and HR Competence and Labor Market.

The mission of the HR Processes unit is to develop and strengthen HR processes to ensure a long-term and effective supply of skills that meets the needs of the organization now and in the future. By driving and developing employer issues, we actively contribute to the success of the administration. Our work is characterized by a process-oriented approach where we create added value through coordination and a holistic perspective.

In the role of Development Leader – Labor Law, you have an overarching mission to coordinate and develop work within labor law. You ensure that the processes are appropriate, effective, and followed, and represent the administration in the city's joint work in the area.

You contribute to the development of strategic skills supply, produce governing documents and training materials, and provide qualified support to HR partners and managers through advice, guidance, and training initiatives.

The role also involves continuously monitoring developments in legislation, the labor market, research, and practices within labor law and translating that into the administration's work. You work closely with HR colleagues and other stakeholders in a process-oriented approach, focusing on creating benefits for the organization. You have a central role in dialogue and collaboration with trade union parties and represent the area of expertise towards management, the board, and the city at large.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have at least five years of experience in qualified work with labor law in a large and complex organization. You have very good knowledge and experience of working with labor law, labor law legislation, collective agreements, and contract interpretation.

You have a good ability to switch between strategic and operational work and thrive in roles where you drive development work in collaboration with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. Experience in leading processes and projects is an advantage.

It is important that you have a well-developed analytical ability, are solution-oriented, and take your own initiatives. You are a clear and attentive communicator with good collaboration skills, who builds trust in cooperation with others. You are motivated to achieve set goals, translate these into concrete actions, and follow up on results.

We Offer

With us, you will have a strategic and meaningful assignment in one of Gothenburg City's largest administrations, where you make a real difference for both managers, employees, and children in preschool. You will be part of a workplace characterized by professionalism, trust, and development power – where we support each other and share a strong commitment.

We offer a flexible and stimulating work environment with good conditions, continuous professional development, and collegial learning. You will work in modern premises at Gamlestads Torg 5, with good communication and an activity-based working method that gives you the freedom to adapt your workday according to the task.

Welcome with your application! Interviews will take place during weeks 4-5.

Conditions

As an employee in our administration, you will be offered, among other things, wellness grants, bicycle benefits, and employee support.

In this recruitment, we will not ask for a personal letter as an application document. Instead, you will be asked to answer a number of questions where we ask you to describe your competence in the requested area.

According to the Education Act, extracts from the police's criminal record must be presented by individuals before they are employed in preschool activities, schools, and school-age childcare. You can order this from the Police's website.

In preparation for this recruitment, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and therefore kindly decline further offers of competence mediation, advertising, and recruitment assistance.

We only accept applications via our recruitment system in accordance with GDPR.
