What does the role of interim consultant at Aspia entail?

As an interim consultant with us, you step in where your expertise makes a difference – during vacancies, reorganizations, change projects, or during recruitment processes. The assignments vary in length and complexity, which means you are constantly developing and gaining new perspectives. Depending on your background and experience, we match suitable assignments for you. The assignments are primarily with clients in the Gothenburg area, but may sometimes occur in nearby locations. In these cases, travel may be a natural part of the role and some flexibility is required.

Being an interim consultant means you need to thrive in change and have the ability to quickly adapt to new environments. You are confident in your skills, unpretentious, and have a consultative approach. You see opportunities, build relationships, and create value for the client – even when the circumstances are challenging.

Examples of tasks with our clients:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Reporting of internal transactions
• Documentation and development of processes and routines

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in economics
• Very good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
• Experience in independently preparing financial statements
• Good knowledge of K3
• Good knowledge of Excel

Meritorious:

• Independently prepares annual reports
• Experience in various industries and larger companies
• Experience with IFRS
• Experience with larger business systems, e.g., SAP
• Experience from the consulting industry
• Knowledge and experience in using AI tools in finance and accounting, e.g., for automation, analysis, or process efficiency
