Are you an artistic and tech-savvy person who is passionate about creating in 3D and teaching your skills?

The Culture School in Jokkmokk is now seeking a teacher who can teach children and youth in 3D modeling with Blender. The teaching will take place partially online, except for the start and end sessions which will be on-site.

Why does 3D modeling and digital art belong to culture?

Digital art and 3D modeling are a growing part of today's cultural expressions. From games and films to art exhibitions and interactive experiences, the possibilities within 3D are endless. By combining artistic and technical skills, children can create their own worlds and characters while learning important tools that can be used in many industries.

This is a fixed-term part-time position starting on 2025-02-03 and lasting until 2025-06-13.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in 3D modeling, you will:

• Teach groups and individual students aged 10–19 years, 1+2 days a week. Teaching may take place partially online.
• Develop lessons and creative projects in Blender, where children can create everything from simple models to increasingly complex environments and animations.
• Inspire children to explore digital creation and develop their artistic skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in 3D modeling and Blender.
• Preferably has a background in digital art, game development, or animation.
• Enjoys working with children and youth and has pedagogical skills.
• Is creative, inspiring, and can adapt teaching to students' abilities and interests.
