Are you a creative and tech-savvy person who is passionate about teaching?

Now you have the chance to become part of our organization and help children develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through digital creation. We are looking for someone who wants to teach Scratch programming, where children learn to program and create their own games and interactive stories. Teaching can be done remotely, making it possible to contribute to our organization regardless of where you are located.

Why is programming part of culture?

Technology and digital creation are a natural part of today’s cultural expressions. By combining technology and storytelling, we help children develop both logical thinking and creative abilities. Programming is not just code – it is a tool for creating music, games, and interactive experiences. This is a temporary part-time position from 2025-02-03 to 2025-06-13.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Scratch programming teacher, you will:

• Teach groups and individual students aged 6–19 years, 1–2 days a week.
• Develop lessons and creative projects where children can combine digital creation with problem-solving.
• Start from prepared lesson plans but have great freedom to adapt the course content based on the students' interests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We believe you have experience teaching programming, preferably in Scratch or other block programming tools.

• Enjoy working with children and youth and have pedagogical skills.
• Be creative, pedagogical, and able to inspire children to explore programming.
• Be proficient in programming.
