Are you a creative and technology-interested person who is passionate about teaching? Now you have the chance to be part of our organization and help children develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through digital creation and technology. We are looking for someone who wants to teach Scratch programming and LEGO Education, where children learn to program, build, and create using both digital tools and practical constructions.

By offering instruction in programming and STEM, the Cultural School aims to provide children and youth with tools to express themselves and shape the society of the future. The skills they learn here, such as creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, are invaluable for the future, whether they want to become engineers, game developers, artists, or something entirely different.

A permanent part-time position with a start date of 2025-02-03.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach groups and individual students aged 6-19 in Scratch programming and LEGO Education, 1-2 days a week.
• Develop lessons and creative projects where children can combine digital and practical creation. There is the opportunity to start from prepared lesson plans but also great freedom to shape the course as it progresses.
• Inspire children to think innovatively and dare to test new ideas, and contribute to developing our operations in technology and digital creation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We believe you have experience working with children and youth, preferably in technology, programming, or pedagogy.
• Comfortable working in Scratch and/or other programming environments for children.
• Experience with LEGO Education or willingness to learn it.
• Creative, pedagogical, and able to inspire children to explore new areas.
