We are looking for a part-time personal assistant for a cheerful yet determined 18-year-old boy who lives in an apartment in Gnesta. Due to his physical limitations, he is in a wheelchair and requires assistance around the clock. His interests include lights and music, as well as going for walks. Your tasks will include personal hygiene, help with dressing, and handling tube feeding. Despite his young age and physical challenges, he is a lightweight fighter who weighs no more than 40 kilos, which makes necessary lifts easier.

We are looking for a warm, calm, and flexible person in middle age who enjoys working closely with others. The job may involve lifting, so good physical ability is important. Experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and are willing to learn.

Good knowledge of Swedish is required for smooth communication. We prefer that you live near the workplace to facilitate travel to and from work. A driver's license is an advantage and provides greater flexibility in the role.

• Start date: Immediately. 

• Employment rate: Part-time as needed.

Recruitment Process

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistance, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other parties involved. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record check is always required.

Employment Conditions

To be employed with us, you must be at least 18 years old, be able to verify your identity, and show that you have the right to work in Sweden. Additionally, a valid BankID is required as both the employment contract and time reports are signed digitally.

  To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
