Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 12-year-old boy in Oxelösund

• has experience working as a personal assistant or with children/youth

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with tube feeding

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 25%. The job primarily involves working evenings, nights, and weekends. Working hours are varied and scheduled during weekdays from 15:15-08:45 and weekends from 08:45-20:45 or 20:45-08:45. There is an expected waiting time of about 9 hours during the nights.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

The desired start date is in February 2026 or as agreed.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can provide valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
