We are now looking for more on-call assistants for our client in Strängnäs. The schedule is awake at all hours of the day, with separate shifts for day and night.

About the position

Our client is an 8-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is cheerful and social and requires support with everything in her daily life. She enjoys music, dancing, and walks. During the day, you will accompany the girl to school and participate in her lessons. After school, you will mostly work at the girl’s home with her family, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful demeanor, and possess good empathetic skills.

The girl needs help with everything in her daily life; she does not have spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and facial expressions. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory assistance such as a cough machine and oxygen at night.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. A thorough and clear introduction will be provided upon hiring. A car and driver's license are required to commute to and from work.

Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, it is necessary that you are creative, attentive, and observant of small signals. Experience in personal assistance is an advantage, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh more heavily. Please include in your application when you are available for the position.

As the girl is under 18 years old, a criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
