Linåkerskolan is the municipality's only secondary school, currently hosting around 350 students and employing about 55 staff members who provide these young people with the best conditions for acquiring knowledge for life. The school is divided into four mentor teams and a special educational team.

Our prioritized goals for the year include increased knowledge in mathematics and Swedish, and we also work extensively on attendance, safety, and well-being. The entire municipality is engaged in a rewarding effort in SKUA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our teachers chooses to move north in the country, we are looking for her replacement in Swedish and primarily in SVA. Are you the one we are looking for?

You will teach in grades 7-9 in the subjects mentioned above.

Each employee belongs to a work team led by their team leader, and you have a common meeting time in the team once a week. The employees in the team generally have all their teaching assigned to their specific team. As a teacher in SVA, you will teach in all teams.

The entire municipality is fully committed to SKUA, and if you have worked with it, it is an advantage.

The role includes mentorship, where you have a special responsibility to follow up and support the individual students' development in close collaboration with the student's guardians. For this position, it involves mentorship in an 8th-grade class.

You will collaborate with subject colleagues where development in the subject often occurs collectively with recurring subject team meetings. These subject teams develop, among other things, common plans regarding which subject areas (in each subject) are studied in which grade. At the same time, as an individual teacher, you have great autonomy to conduct your teaching. All teaching is based in Google Classroom.

We continuously work at the organizational level to improve the organization and target efforts at the individual and group level to achieve as much as possible. The dynamics at the school are significant. We constantly change, adjust, and seek solutions to make it as good as possible for our students.

QUALIFICATIONS
