Nils Holgersson School is a free school located near the sea in Simrishamn. We are a K-9 school with 215 students. In 2026, the school will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
We are looking for a qualified language teacher specializing in Spanish, with experience working with grades 6-9.
We seek someone who wants to be part of our work towards continued increased goal fulfillment, where all students receive the support they need and can develop in a safe environment to become their best selves.
The position is part-time, 50%, scheduled Tuesday to Thursday during the spring term of 2026 in grades 6-9.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed teacher with experience teaching at the middle and high school levels.
Job Responsibilities
The school has a high teacher qualification rate and a strong sense of working together for the students' goal fulfillment. The student is at the center of everything we do, and we are driven by a strong belief that our students will do well if they can, and that we work together to create the best possible conditions for them to succeed.
Start date no later than February 9, 2026.
We apply a 6-month probationary period.
Must provide a criminal record extract.
