Your Role

As a teacher with us, you will teach mathematics, science subjects, and technology for grades 4–6. You will be responsible for:

• Planning, teaching, and evaluation.
• Documentation and communication via Schoolsoft.
• Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where all students can develop from their own level.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4–6 in mathematics, science, and technology. Experience in teaching is an advantage.

You are:

• Creative and inspiring, with the ability to motivate students.
• Attentive and see each student's strengths as a starting point.
• Comfortable in multicultural environments and curious about new knowledge.
• Familiar with integrating KL and genre pedagogy across different subjects.
• Good at handling conflicts and challenging situations calmly and respectfully.

About Us

The Department of Education and Child Care is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and staff succeed and can become their best selves. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is based at Tyringe School. We have close collaboration and development work with the principal area for F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we will work this school year with three focus areas: student participation, students' language skills, and safety and study peace.

Tyringe School has a fantastic location centrally located in Tyringe with proximity to nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. Close to the school area, there are also Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs hov, a sports facility with a sports hall, swimming pool, ice rink, and bowling hall under the same roof. The school is located near train and bus stations. We are a F-9 school with about 600 students, divided into two principal areas.
