Social Worker for the Reception Unit

Do you want to work to provide security, support, and guidance to individuals in vulnerable situations? We are currently seeking a social worker for the reception unit – a workplace where your skills and commitment make a difference.

The reception unit receives applications and reports in several areas: children and youth, domestic violence, and adults with harmful use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, or gambling.

In your role, you will work with cases related to domestic violence and harmful use. You will receive and assess applications and reports, conduct investigations, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act. We use standardized investigation methods, such as FREDA and ASI, and you will receive training if you have not worked with these before. The work involves exercising authority according to current legislation.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker or has an equivalent university degree.
• Driving license B.
• We value personal qualities.
