Tursbo Rehab is now looking for a treatment assistant for our unit in Åker, where we receive adult men, aged 20-65, for treatment of addiction, criminality, and often in combination with mental health issues. We work with the 12-step program as a theoretical basis for treatment, but with elements of CBT.

Additionally, we have nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists associated with our operations. The clients are mainly placed by the Correctional Services and Social Services, but LVM is also involved.

We are now looking for a treatment assistant for a full-time position (100%). The schedule includes day, evening/night shifts with sleeping on-call duty, and every other weekend.

Week 1

Mon 10–20

Fri-Sun 8–21

Week 2:

Mon-Fri 19:45-00, 00-06 (sleeping on-call) 06-8:15. You will work Monday evening and finish Friday morning. After that, you will be off for a week until the next Friday when you return.

Your tasks will include:

• Medication distribution
• Sampling
• Supervision/Care
• Conversations
• Cooking
• Cleaning/Laundry
• Driving
• Record-keeping and other documentation
• Organizing leisure activities
• Leading treatment groups based on competence

You need to:

• Have a good view of humanity and ensure that everyone receives the best possible treatment and care during their time with us
• Have a good ability to set boundaries and work from a personal but not private standpoint
• Be able to work independently, be comfortable with solitary work, and enjoy a wide variety of tasks
• Have good documentation skills
• Spread joy and positivity at work
• Have a B driver's license for manual transmission
• Not have a criminal record regarding penalties/convictions for at least 5 years
• If you have personal addiction issues, have at least 5 years of sobriety/clean time

Start date January/February as agreed. 6-month probationary period, then permanent employment.
