We are now looking for a substitute at Nytida Strandhagen in Sävsjö for immediate introduction. Apply by 2026-01-31. You need to have a degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent. Ongoing relevant education is also welcome to apply.
Your mission

As a treatment assistant, you play an important role in the daily work of supporting people towards a more independent life, with great respect for the individual's right to self-determination.
Your tasks will include supporting the individual in adhering to their personal weekly schedule. Actively participate in the common activities offered to clients to maintain a meaningful stay. You will have close collaboration with other contact persons and treatment staff. Your tasks also include documenting according to current legislation, administering medication by delegation, some kitchen duties, and assisting with cleaning as needed.
About Strandhagen Nytida Strandhagen in Sävsjö is a small and personal treatment home for women aged 18 and older, most commonly aged 18-30. The treatment home offers comprehensive women's treatment in the form of DBT therapy (dialectical behavior therapy). CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is applied individually for individuals not included in DBT treatment. Personality disorders and neuropsychiatric diagnoses such as ADHD, ADD, and autism spectrum disorders are common.
Your experience and knowledge
You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or experience working in HVB or other education/experience deemed suitable. Post-secondary education such as social pedagogy or treatment pedagogy. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation.
You have a positive attitude, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the residents' best interests at heart in everything you do.
We are looking for someone who values and feels a strong commitment to making a difference for women with mental health issues. To thrive in our environment, you need to be self-driven, proactive, and meticulous with an empathetic, unpretentious, and secure personality. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group and are trained in MI and cognitive approaches.
