We are now looking for a family therapist for the social services' family resource unit in Vetlanda. For us, meeting people is the most important thing.

The family resource unit has premises on Storgatan and at the family center. The unit's mission includes both non-needs-assessed and needs-assessed interventions. We work with children and young people aged 0–20 years and their families. We collaborate closely with various units of social services as well as with other partners such as the child and education administration and the region's various activities.

The unit consists of a total of 16 employees and is characterized by high competence, good well-being, and well-functioning structures. For us, it is important to have a culture where we support each other, collaborate closely, and have room for both engagement and joy at work.

As a family therapist, you will work with children and young people aged 0–20 years and their families. The work mainly involves assistance decisions granted by social workers from the investigation unit, but also preventive measures without individual needs assessment (IUB). Within family work, we have a broad competence to match the different needs of families, with the goal of creating the best possible conditions for each family.

In the change work together with parents, children, and young people, we use various evidence-based methods, such as MI, Trappan, Repulse, the Circle of Security parenting program, FFT (functional family therapy), CBT, and Tryggare Barn.

As a provider of interventions, you will plan together with families how to achieve set goals. The role offers great freedom to plan and implement the work, and meetings take place both in the families' homes and in our premises. Some morning and evening work may be included in the position.

You work in a structured and independent manner, can prioritize when needed, and are at the same time unpretentious and willing to ask for support when necessary.
