Day Assistant Wanted for the Team

I am currently looking for a day assistant for my team for a position of 80%.

I live in my own apartment in the countryside just outside Gränna and participate in daily activities at Majvallen in Huskvarna on weekdays. I have a great interest in music – if you can play and sing, that is a big plus. I also enjoy motor vehicles and have my own vehicles that I drive with the support of an assistant.

About You

To thrive in this role, you need to be an active, engaged, and focused person. You have good self-motivation, planning skills, and take responsibility for your work.

You are flexible, easy-going, and solution-oriented – a person who prefers to see opportunities rather than obstacles. You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and can work from both verbal and written instructions.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience and knowledge of autism as well as experience with challenging behavior are advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant, you will support me in my daily life so that I can live a good life with the greatest possible self-determination. The tasks include, among others:

• Personal care
• Motivational support
• Training and activities
• Creating safety, calm, and good communication
• Planning and executing activities
• Some household chores

Working Hours

The shifts are mainly during the day, from 07:45 to 16:50, as well as two night shifts per schedule (16:50–07:50) with awake night. The position follows a rolling 6-week schedule with work every other weekend.

We have ongoing staff meetings, training, and supervision.

Requirements

• A driver's license and access to your own car are required, as the residence is located outside Gränna.

Start date is immediate and recruitment is ongoing.
