Administrative Social Worker for Sävsjö Municipality

Sävsjö Municipality is a small municipality with great opportunities for growth. In this small community, there is a close connection between people – between you and your colleagues and between employees and managers. Together, we work to provide our residents with the best possible service, and in our teams, you will have the chance to take space, develop, and contribute.

Do you want to combine your social work skills with structured administrative work and be a key person in ensuring legal security, quality, and good service within social services? We are looking for someone who wants to work in a central and varied role in Individual and Family Care.

Individual and Family Care works to provide support to children, young people, adults, and families in vulnerable situations. As an administrative social worker, you will become an important hub in the administrative and coordinating work of the organization. The role contributes to creating good routines, order, and structure so that caseworkers can spend more time meeting with residents.

You will be part of an engaged organization and work under the operational manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrative social worker, you will have a broad and developing assignment where you are responsible for and participate in several central processes within Individual and Family Care. The role suits you if you enjoy order, systematics, service, and quality, and if you thrive on working closely with both operations and management.

You will coordinate the internal administration to create an efficient and uniform case management and support the operational manager and unit managers through compilations, documentation, follow-ups, and reporting. In this role, you will also serve as an important link between different units, functions, and systems.

A central part of the work involves ensuring the legal handling of documents, where you are responsible for disclosures according to OSL and GDPR, and ensure that public documents are handled in a structured and traceable manner. You will also support the organization in matters related to record-keeping, archiving, and document structure.

Furthermore, you will work with occurrence controls and register management, where you perform and document checks in relevant registers and manage extracts, certificates, and other legally governed documentation. The role also includes being a local system administrator or system support for the organization's IT systems, such as journal systems, statistical tools, and document management systems. You will administer permissions, conduct quality checks, and support the organization during system changes and digital development.

You will also serve some time at the reception, where you will be a safe and service-oriented first contact for residents. This includes handling mail, case flows, bookings, and simpler service matters.

Finally, you will be responsible for collecting, compiling, and quality-assuring statistics used for management, committees, authorities, and follow-up work. You will also participate in ongoing quality work, analyses, and the development of work methods to strengthen the organization's efficiency and legal security.

We offer you a varied and meaningful role with a strong emphasis on administration, structure, and coordination. There is an opportunity to work with a developmental focus and contribute to increased legal security and quality. Participation in an organization with strong commitment and high ambition.

A close collaboration with the operational manager, unit managers, and colleagues in a stable and supportive organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another relevant higher education who thrives in a role where structure, accuracy, and independence are important parts of everyday life. You are confident in working based on legislation and have an easy time interpreting and applying regulations in practice.

You have excellent administrative skills and are used to working in digital systems, while also having a professional and service-oriented approach and easily building trust in meetings with both residents and colleagues. The role suits you if you appreciate varied tasks and want to be an important support function for both operations and management.

It is advantageous if you have experience in social services, authority exercise, administration in public operations, or work with system management.
