Sävsjö Municipality is Hiring Health Coach and Leisure Leader

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is divided into:

• Health Coach and Leisure Leader for seniors and those with daytime availability.
• Leisure Leader for youth (primarily ages 13-19).

You will work both during the day and in the evenings, 2 evenings per week, including every other Saturday. The placement is at the Culture and Leisure Unit at Hälsocenter Sävsjö, with distribution to Sävsjö youth centers.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for youth, seniors, and those with daytime availability in open leisure activities and meeting places.
• Plan and implement activities for different target groups.
• Be attentive to the needs of the target group, encourage their own initiatives, and promote democratic values.
• Collaborate with leisure leaders, health coaches, schools, parents, field assistants, associations, administrations, and companies.
• Participate in Hälsocenter's work with health-promoting initiatives for both younger and older individuals.
• Start and run projects based on the wishes and needs of the target groups.

You will be based at the shooting center premises in Sävsjö town, but the work is flexible and largely based on outreach activities in both Sävsjö and the surrounding areas of Stockaryd, Rörvik, and Vrigstad.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in people and wants to contribute to their well-being.
• Is attentive, engaged, and good at building relationships.
• Has experience in planning and leading activities for youth and/or seniors.
• Is creative, proactive, and flexible.
• Has knowledge or a strong interest in health-promoting work.
• Is structured and accustomed to driving projects from start to finish.

Education or special competence in wellness or leisure pedagogy is an advantage.
