JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In 2026, the government will introduce new legal requirements concerning financial assistance, including an activity requirement. To prepare for this, we need to temporarily strengthen the workgroup with a social worker at 75% for a specific fixed-term employment.

The unit currently consists of a unit manager, a senior social worker, and 8 social workers.

The position involves investigating and assessing the right to financial assistance and actively supporting individuals to become self-sufficient both socially and economically. You will work in a mapping and motivational manner towards those you meet and collaborate with other actors, both internally and externally.

All work within the unit involves qualified social work where investigations, assessments, and decisions are made based on applicable laws, case law, and delegation. We consider it an asset if you have or are about to obtain a degree in social work, if you have previously worked with financial assistance, or have experience in governmental work. Experience with MIX, MI, and the operational system Combine is also an asset.

A valid B driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.

We are looking for someone who is structured, has an easy time collaborating and building relationships, and has an understanding of people and their sometimes complex life situations.

As a newly hired social worker, you will receive orientation and case management support. The group has continuous external supervision.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has or is about to obtain a degree in social work or has another equivalent higher education.
