JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker, you will be part of a unit with a strong commitment to the children, youth, and families we work with. You will handle cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and follow up on children placed outside their own homes. In this role, you are responsible for driving cases forward and ensuring that current legislation and procedures are followed. You will investigate, analyze, present proposals for decisions/make decisions, and follow up. You will be part of a team consisting of social workers, social assistants, and a unit manager. In the group, there is good cohesion, a positive atmosphere, and mutual support. We have access to municipal lawyers for legal guidance. Collaboration also takes place with open care, where therapists, field workers, family centers, and housing assistants are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in authority exercises within the Social Services Act. Experience in assessments, investigations, and follow-up of support measures according to SoL and LVU for children and youth is an advantage.
