About Hemstaden

Since 2018, Hemstaden has been working to provide protection, security, and qualified support to women, men, children, and families who are vulnerable to:

  • domestic violence
  • honor-related violence and oppression
  • threats, stalking, and other forms of vulnerability

About the position

As a social worker in Jönköping, you will:

  • Conduct supportive conversations, crisis management, and safety planning.
  • Map needs and plan individual interventions.
  • Collaborate with social services, healthcare, schools, and legal actors.
  • Document according to applicable guidelines and ensure legally secure processes.
  • Participate in development work, routine creation, and quality work according to ISO.

The working hours are mainly weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some requirement for flexibility.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A degree in social work.
  • Experience working with victims of violence or other vulnerable groups.
  • The ability to create security and build trusting relationships.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, honor violence, and trauma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A driver's license.

Meritorious

  • Language skills beyond Swedish.
  • Training in Trappan or other child and youth-oriented conversation methodologies.
  • Experience working with children, youth, or multicultural target groups.
  • Training in MI or other structured conversation methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems, preferably ISO.
