Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and driven accountant for a full-time consulting assignment starting in early January and tentatively extending until April. As an accountant with our client, you will play a central role in ongoing financial work and contribute to a stable and quality-assured accounting process.

You will be part of an engaged finance team and work broadly with both operational and analytical tasks. The role suits you if you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy taking responsibility, and want to help develop the finance function's working methods.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ongoing accounting with bookkeeping, controls, and account reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including accruals and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable: invoices, payments, reminders, and reconciliations.
• Collect and compile data for reporting in internal systems.
• Participate in improvement and digitization efforts within financial processes.
• Collaborate with auditors, authorities, and internal functions on financial matters.
• Ensure correct handling of VAT, taxes, and declaration materials.
• Support budgeting and forecasting work through documentation and follow-up.
• Contribute to good internal control by developing and quality-assuring routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent experience.
• Good experience in ongoing accounting as well as monthly and annual closings.
• Very good system skills and strong knowledge of Excel.
• Experience in accounts receivable and payable management and reporting work.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and with high accuracy.

Meritorious:

• Experience with Pyramid, MediusGo, Hailey, and preferably HR-related tasks.
