PRV is now seeking an engaged and experienced lawyer with a focus on administrative law for the unit of general law and supervision. The unit is part of the Operations Support department. It is led by a unit manager, who is also the deputy chief legal officer, and consists of four lawyers, a chief registrar, and an archivist. PRV's data protection officer is located in the unit.

The unit's mission is to provide qualified advice on legal matters and to ensure the quality of administrative processes as well as all the general legal areas that are relevant within the authority. The unit's area of responsibility includes, among other things, public access and confidentiality and other administrative legislation, information security, GDPR, AI, copyright, and supervision of collective rights management.

Job Responsibilities

As a lawyer in the unit for general law and supervision, your task will be to contribute to a good administrative culture by providing administrative legal support and other legal guidance within the authority.

You will participate where legal expertise is needed, including by quality assuring documents and projects, preparing legal investigations, responding to consultations, working on the development of procedures, managing relevant governing documents, and advising on public documents, public access, and confidentiality issues. Participation in internal training and information efforts may occur.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a Swedish law degree and several years of experience in qualified legal work at, for example, an authority, court, or ministry. You have worked with legal advice within public administration and have current experience in administrative legal issues. It is an advantage if you have experience in assessing the processing of personal data.

The work requires that you have very good analytical skills, are meticulous, and can work both independently and in a group with high-quality results. You are collaborative with a focus on the common goal and create good relationships. You adapt communication to the target audience and situation and have an understanding of the various departments and functions of the organization. It is important that you are solution-oriented and can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks. You can express yourself very well in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. It is essential that you have excellent communication and collaboration skills and an interest in cooperating with other professions. You are proactive and can quickly adapt to new situations.

The employment is a permanent full-time position based in Stockholm. We apply a six-month probationary period.
