Job Description
Do you want a central role in an exciting and varied job where you make a difference every day? The Culture and Leisure Office is now looking for a coordinator who will be a key person in our office-wide work.
As a coordinator, you are the hub that holds processes together and creates structure. You work closely with the office manager and contribute to ensuring that management receives the right support for the office to function smoothly and efficiently. The role involves many points of contact, significant personal responsibility, and the opportunity to influence.
About 50% of the position involves managing the Culture Check. This includes administering the municipality's student grant for cultural activities, handling authorization applications, preparing preliminary and final billing documentation, conducting checks of already authorized providers, and following up and reporting on financial resources. The role involves ongoing contact with students, guardians, and coordinators.
In addition to managing the Culture Check, you will also work on:
- Publishing content on the web and intranet, including updating the event calendar and maintaining the intranet for Culture & Leisure
- Coordinating referral responses and citizen proposals that concern the entire office
- Coordinating reporting for the entire office (local needs reports, procurements, quarterly reports, activity descriptions, committee plans, etc.)
- Coordinating office-wide activities and projects together with other offices
- Being responsible for system management coordination for the entire office
- Being responsible for the office's data protection management, ensuring that the office complies with applicable legislation and has correct documentation.
- Supporting the office manager in governance, leadership, and follow-up
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least a high school education
- Previous experience in administrative work
- Preferably experience in municipal operations or politically governed organizations
- Has good IT skills and is quick to learn new systems, including good knowledge of Office
- Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
- Has a high ability to prioritize and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously

About the position
The position is a permanent employment. A probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.
