Education Department

The Education Department in Täby Municipality is a dedicated division that works closely with all forms of schools - both municipal and independent. We ensure that our decisions are always legally secure and equitable. Here, professionalism meets care, with a focus on making a difference for students and schools.

Your Responsibilities

As a quality developer, you will be responsible, together with two colleagues, for the systematic quality work at the principal level for all forms of schools in Täby Municipality - from preschool to adult education.

Your assignment involves regularly collecting, processing, and analyzing unit data based on a clear annual cycle, and then compiling this at the principal level. With support from the Education Act, curricula, and regulations, you identify and contribute to areas for development and needs for improvement that are then further processed in the organization to increase goal fulfillment.

Through these fundamental analyses and in close dialogue with operational managers and principals regarding results and areas for development, you contribute to the development and improvement of education for all children and students in Täby Municipality. In this work, you often collaborate with other functions in the department, such as lawyers, FOU-responsible for equitable assessment, or other experts, depending on the task and project.

Another important part of your assignment is to report in writing to the committees in the municipality, and you report directly to the head of the department.

Part of your assignment is to stay updated on school development issues and upcoming reforms, as well as how these may affect the principal's work. Your task here is to prepare and analyze what the principal needs to address or focus on and contribute to that work based on your function.

Your Profile

You are structured and have strong analytical skills, allowing you to handle, sort, and analyze large amounts of data. As a good collaborator, you create a positive work environment where each other's competencies are valued, and together you drive the principal's work forward. You engage in dialogue and are a knowledgeable and warm colleague with good knowledge and experience of the regulations governing school operations.

Your curiosity and interest in school issues keep you informed about developments in the education sector and future changes.

You have a relevant academic degree and experience working with investigative assignments at the principal level, preferably within high school and adult education.

You are accustomed to working in various digital systems, primarily Stratsys.
