About the job

As Head of Control & Analysis, you will lead and develop a department where we gather specialist expertise in Business Control, Business Analysis, and BI. By providing the organization with strategic, operational, and tactical insights in a timely manner, the department is a crucial cog in achieving our goals of increased growth, improved cost efficiency, and the industry's best customer experience.

At a high level, the department's mission is to provide the organization, corporate management, and the board with follow-up, relevant analyses, and decision-making support necessary to steer the business towards the company's long-term goals. This includes:

• Driving the company's business planning and forecasting process
• Development and assurance of the model for internal governance
• Ongoing follow-up and internal reporting of the company's results to facilitate governance of the company.
• Analysis of efficiency and profitability, etc.
• Being proactive in strengthening our analytical maturity.

You will be responsible for six employees and report to the CFO, who is part of the corporate management team. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibilities, where you will help drive the company's business planning and forecasting process, develop models for internal governance, and contribute to increased growth, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You will be an enabler who ensures that the team has the right conditions to achieve results together. It is important to us that you are both a leader and operationally close to the business.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and several years of experience in business analysis
• Experience in breaking down target images into concrete activities
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the organization
• Experience in leadership and team development
• Familiarity with working closely or together with the IT organization and requirement specification
• Experience from the insurance and/or banking industry

Desirable:

• Experience in developing platforms and processes for business governance
• Familiarity with navigating a complex corporate structure, where multiple companies collaborate within a common group.
