Investigator in Health and Medical Care
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. Job Description
We are looking for an investigator in health and medical care to support the operations in adhering to quality requirements and implementing guidelines for care activities. You will contribute to strengthening the quality of care, patient safety, and collaboration between SiS and regional health and medical care.
As an investigator focusing on operational support and quality monitoring, you will be an important part of the work to implement and follow up care guidelines, both national and internal, as well as ensuring that the operations comply with legislation, authority requirements, and our own quality standards. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems and participate in efforts to strengthen care chains between SiS and the regions' health and medical care activities.
A central part of your assignment will be to support management functions and professionals in issues related to patient safety, deviation management, self-control, and quality monitoring. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in training and information initiatives and contribute to strengthening the knowledge management of the operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- is a licensed psychologist or nurse with relevant specialist training or equivalent experience
- has experience in quality and development work within psychiatric care, substance abuse care, or compulsory care.
- has experience in implementing care guidelines and quality systems within health and medical care.
- has good knowledge of health and medical care legislation, the Patient Safety Act, and the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations.
- has experience working in psychiatric health and medical care, preferably in both outpatient and inpatient care.
- can express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working within SiS.
- knowledge of quality management systems according to ISO standards or equivalent.
- experience in supervision, training, or methodological support within care and treatment.
- experience in monitoring care processes, patient safety, or deviation management.
- experience working in psychiatric health and medical care, preferably in both outpatient and inpatient care
- experience in investigative work within public administration
