Business Developer to the Management Staff

Do you want to help drive the development of the administration's working methods, structure, and long-term processes? We are looking for a business developer to the management staff who wants to work strategically to strengthen the organization's ability to achieve its goals. With us, you will work closely with managers and leadership, and together with functions such as digitalization developers, analysts, and workplace strategists, create conditions for sustainable working methods, clear processes, and good coordination. The role suits you who thrive in change, enjoy developing organizations, and want to contribute to professional and effective governance. The assignment varies over time, making the role both development-oriented and meaningful for you who thrive in a role where people, processes, and the organization's long-term goals meet.

About the role

As a business developer in the management staff, you will work with the administration's overall development issues. The role is strategic and involves contributing to structures, processes, and working methods that strengthen the organization's ability to achieve its goals. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with staff functions and managers, and you are an important link between the management's direction and the needs of the operations. The assignment is governed by the administration's goals, environmental monitoring, and ongoing development areas, and therefore varies over time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • driving, coordinating, and facilitating development and change processes
  • contributing to the development and implementation of new working methods
  • supporting managers in change work and development of work forms
  • identifying areas for improvement and participating in the administration's long-term development planning
  • working on issues related to quality, internal governance, and organizational development
  • collaborating closely with digitalization developers, analysts, workplace strategists, and other specialists
  • leading workshops, dialogues, and processes that support a more efficient and cohesive operation

Your profile

You are someone who thrives in a role where you can combine analysis, structure, collaboration, and development work. You find it easy to build relationships, create trust, and move the work forward in dialogue with others. You value quality, clarity, and structure and are confident in driving processes even when the frameworks are not always fully defined.

You recognize yourself in these characteristics:

  • Flexible – sees opportunities in change and adapts working methods to the situation
  • Structured – creates order and clarity in development processes
  • Collaborative – builds good relationships and leads through dialogue
  • Proactive – drives development and takes responsibility for progress

Education

University education of at least 180 credits in areas such as public administration, political science, organization/management, behavioral science, sociology, HR/personnel science, or other academic education that provides knowledge about organization, governance, change work, and process development.

Other educational areas may be assessed as equivalent if they provide a corresponding theoretical basis for working strategically with business development in a complex organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has documented experience working with business development, change work, or process development in complex organizations. You have worked closely with managers or in a strategic staff or development function and are used to facilitating workshops, meetings, and dialogue processes. The role requires a very good ability to articulate yourself in speech and writing, good system skills, and ease in adopting digital working methods, as well as knowledge of change management or similar development methodology.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the public sector or other regulated activities, and if you have previously worked on developing structures, routines, processes, or governing documents. Experience in digitalization work or the introduction of new working methods is also valuable, as well as knowledge of organizational, personnel, or competence development issues.
