Kvinnojouren Iris is looking for an employee

Are you driven and committed to spreading knowledge and preventing violence? Do you want to contribute to more women and girls in Luleå and Norrbotten receiving the support they need? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are looking for someone who wants to work with our outreach activities. The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months with good opportunities for extension.

The tasks consist of increasing Kvinnojouren Iris's visibility and spreading knowledge about men's violence against women by organizing outreach activities and updating our website and social media channels. As an employee with us, you will create new networks and develop collaboration with suitable organizations, as well as continue existing partnerships. The assignment also includes providing direct support to women, girls, and children through in-person conversations or via phone and digital channels. The work includes some administrative tasks and, if necessary, contributing to the daily operations at the shelter.

We are looking for someone who:

● Has a strong commitment to feminist values and the women's shelter movement.

● Is a good communicator with the ability to engage and inform different target groups.

● Is structured, responsible, and proactive.

● Has the ability to work both independently and in a team with other employees and volunteers.

All employees at Kvinnojouren Iris are expected to work from a feminist perspective and in accordance with the organization's values and guidelines. We expect you to collaborate with other employees and participate in supervision and annual evaluations.

Working hours: The working hours are 38 hours/week. The union is Unionen.
