Do you want to be part of an exciting organization where you are a key driver in the work of effective and structured improvement efforts? Are you motivated by coaching others and contributing to the development of both individuals and the organization? Then this could be your next challenge!
Joining the SSAB family means embarking on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future and sustainability of our planet. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges that connect our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. Therefore, we have developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
About the position
We are looking for two business developers for our Quality section in Luleå. As a business developer, you will support the organization in maintaining and developing a lean-based improvement effort based on daily management and continuous improvements. You will, based on The SSAB Way and the SSAB management system, drive and support the development of standardized working methods, tools, and techniques to meet standard and customer requirements. Together with the organization, you will develop and manage the management system and drive and implement improvement activities. As part of developing the organization, you will participate in our auditing activities. You will collaborate with other business developers, quality engineers, and audit coordinators.
Your main responsibilities
- Coach managers and employees in structured and effective improvement work.
- Initiate and support the organization in the development of working methods, tools, and techniques.

- Participate in the introduction and then management of certification within IATF 16949 (International Automotive Task Force).
- Project lead development projects.
- Work on developing the organization's competencies in areas such as quality and customer focus.
- Moderate workshops.
- Develop and manage the management system together with the organization.
- Be an internal audit leader and auditor.
About you
- We prefer that you have a university degree with a focus on lean, leadership, quality, or other equivalent education, or well-documented work experience that has provided equivalent competence.
- You have a positive view of people and a coaching approach.
- You can drive issues independently but also collaborate well with others.
- You are proactive and highly motivated to work with changes and improvements.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is an advantage.
- You have a good ability to convey complex reasoning in a simple and accessible way to different target groups, both in writing and verbally.
- Basic knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, with the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
Our offer
At SSAB, diversity and inclusion are part of our culture. We use our values – driving, genuine, and one step ahead – in our daily decision-making, always with the customer in focus. This makes us all team players, with a common goal of improving ourselves. When you start at SSAB, you become part of an organization with passionate problem solvers who work together on important challenges.
